Nancy Josephine Dodd

Nancy Josephine Dodd passed away May 28, 2007 at her home in Carrollton, TX surrounded by family and friends after a long battle with cancer. She was a native of Wayne County, TN but had made her home in Carrollton, TX for the last 45 years. She was preceded in death by her husband, LeRoy Dodd and her parents, James Boyd and Nona Lee Hollis. She is survived by one daughter, Janice Crouch of Newcastle, TX; one son, Mike Dodd of Carrollton, TX; three grandchildren, Amy, Carlton, and Kimberly Crouch; two brothers, Buford Hollis of Waynesboro, TN and Edwin Hollis of Memphis, TN; three sisters, Anna Lou Gobbell of Waynesboro, TN, Frances Ricketts of Angier, NC, and Nadine Sims of Jacksonville, FL.



Funeral services will be held at 3 pm at the Northside Baptist Church in Carrollton on Wednesday, May 30, 2007 with the Reverend Mark Dallalio officiating. Visitation will be from 1 pm until 3 pm at the church. Services in Tennessee will include a visitation on Friday, June 1, from 6 pm to 8 pm at Shackelford Funeral Home in Waynesboro, TN with a funeral service at 10 am, Saturday, June 2, 2007 at Shackelford Funeral Home Chapel with Cal Hampton officiating. Burial will follow at Memorial Gardens in Collinwood, TN. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to Northside Baptist Church Missions Outreach, 2000 N. Denton Dr., Carrollton, TN 75006 or St. Jude Children’s Hospital, Memphis. TN.
