NANCY LAMBERT CORNELIUS
Was born in Dyersburg, Tennessee on October 9, 1937 the daughter of the late Stanford Warren and Lillie Mae Hutchins Ganus.
On December 7, 1991 she was united in marriage to Jamie Cornelius, who survives.
Mrs. Cornelius worked for Angelica Manufacturing and was owner of Shorty’s Bait Shop. She was a member of Pisgah United Methodist Church and was a member of the Retired Senior Volunteer Program.
Mrs. Cornelius departed this life on January 4, 2007 at the Jackson-Madison County General Hospital in Jackson, Tennessee at the age of 69 years, 2 months and 26 days.
Other than her husband, Jamie of Counce, Tennessee, she is survived by 2 daughters, Janet Lambert Keese of Chicago, Illinois and Tamara Cornelius Presley of Nolensville, Tennessee.
3 sons, Anthony Leon Lambert of Jackson, Tennessee, John Brent Lambert of Medina, Tennessee and Tobin Paul Cornelius of Brentwood, Tennessee.
21 grandchildren and 5 great-grandchildren
One sister, Verdie Durbin of Michie, Tennessee.
2 brothers, Stanford Warren Ganus of Olive Branch, Mississippi and Wayne Ganus of Adamsville, Tennessee.
Mrs. Cornelius was also preceded in death by her first husband, Thurman Leon (Nat) Lambert and 2 sisters, Jewell Moore and Mabel Wadley.
