Nancy Louise Clayton was born December 16, 1952 in McNairy County, Tennessee the daughter of Marie Dickey Hogan and the late Cayce Hogan.
She was united in marriage to Mike Clayton on July 14, 1995. Mrs. Clayton was a Bookkeeper for 7 years for the McNairy Co. Mayor's Office and had worked for ITT in Corinth, MS for 28 years. She was a member of the Chewalla Baptist Church. Mrs. Clayton was a member of the Red Hat Society, enjoyed playing golf, was a member of the Senior Circle and enjoyed traveling with her husband. She also held the distinction of being a member of the first graduating class from McNairy Central High school in 1970.
Mrs. Clayton departed this life on Monday, February 9, 2009 at the age of 56 Years, 1 Month, 24 Days. She is survived by her husband of 13 years, Mike Clayton of Selmer, T; three daughters, Kayce Howard and husband Chris of Guys, TN, Kelli Harris and husband Jim of Columbia, TN, Krista Gibbs and husband Zach of Adamsville, TN; step-daughter Mandy Clayton of Finger, TN; and step son, Clint Clayton and wife Amanda of Lexington, TN; mother, Marie Dickey Hogan of Guys, TN; three sisters, Jane Wilson of Guys, TN, Diane Pate of Corinth, MS, Lisa Hogan of Saltillo, TN; a brother, Dennis Hogan of Corinth, MS; and 8 Grandchildren.
In addition to her father, Mrs Clayton was preceded in death by a grandchild, Addison Hensley.
