Nancy Annette Churchwell

Mrs. Nancy Annette Bumphus Churchwell departed this life on Sunday, September 4, 2016 at Wayne Medical Center in Waynesboro, Tennessee at the age of 50 Years, 6 Months, 14 Days. She was born February 21, 1966 in Hardin County, TN the daughter of the late Claude and Pauline Churchwell Bumphus. In addition to her parents, Mrs Churchwell was preceded in death by two brothers, Ken Bumphus and Bo Bumphus. She was united in marriage to James Churchwell Sr. on June 30, 1987. Mrs. Churchwell was a homemaker and a member of the Mt. Tabor Missionary Baptist in Clifton, Tennessee.

She is survived by her husband James Churchwell Sr. of Clifton, TN, two daughters, Zekeyia Churchwell and husband John of Nashville, TN. and Jamie Clemmons of Clifton, TN, two sons, James Churchwell Jr. and wife Lisa of Clifton, TN, and Claude Churchwell of Nashville, TN, grandchildren, Jadeen, Zykel, Jaylen, Jasmine, Jazahlia, three sisters, Bessie Witherspoon of Clifton, TN, Teresa Churchwell of Nashville, TN, Victoria Clemmons of Clifton, TN, five brothers, Gregory Bumphus of Waynesboro, TN, James Churchwell Jr. of Sandusky, OH, Mike Churchwell of Augusta, GA, Jessie Churchwell of Augusta, GA, Frank Churchwell of Sandusky, OH, aunts, Georgie Bailey, Terre Haute, IN and Jo Clemmons of Clifton, TN, and uncles Lendell Clemmons of Clifton, TN and John Robert Clemmons of Louisville, KY, and a host of nieces, nephews, and friends.

Services will be Saturday, September 10, 2016 at 1:00 PM at Mt. Tabor Missionary Batptist Church in Clifton with Frank Churchwell officiating. Burial will follow in the Lizzard Lake Cemetery at Clifton with Shackelford Funeral Directors, directing. Interment following in Lizard Lake Cemetery with Shackelford Funeral Directors in charge of arrangements.
