Myrtle Butler Jones

Funeral services for Myrtle Wallace Butler Jones, age 80 of Waynesboro will be held on Saturday, August 16, 2008 at 3:00 PM at Shackelford Funeral Home Chapel in Waynesboro, Tennessee, with Leo Doyle officiating. Burial will follow in the Memorial Gardens in Collinwood, Tennessee with Shackelford Funeral Directors of Wayne County in charge of the arrangements.



Visitation will be on Friday, August 15, 2:00-9:00 pm and on Saturday, August 16 from 8:00 am until service time @ Shackelford Funeral Home, Waynesboro, TN



Mrs. Jones departed this life on August 14, 2008 at Wayne County Nursing Home in Waynesboro, Tennessee at the age of 80 Years, 10 Months, 19 Days. She was born September 26, 1927 in Collinwood, Tennessee to the late Lee V. and Annie Jossie Cody Wallace. She was preceded in death by her husbands, Bill Freemon Butler and Neal Gorden Jones; son, William F. Butler, Jr.; and a daughter, Annie Lou Geneva Butler. She was retired from Genesco and attended Wayne County Bible Center.



She is survived by a daughter, Margaret Orene Gable; sons, Tony G Butler and Randy S. Butler all of Waynesboro, TN,

step-daughters, Barbara Thompson, Becky Andrews, Debbie Jones, and Mallie Zickafoose; step-sons, Gary Jones of Waynesboro, TN and Merle Jones of Sacremento, CA



11 grandchildren, 16 great-grandchildren; 16 step-grandchildren, and 18 step-great grandchildren



brothers, Danville Wallace of Lawrenceburg, TN, and Freddie Wallace of Waynesboro, TN; sisters, Carlean Butler of Mantee, MS
