Mr. Birdie Mack Cartwright passed away Friday, Marcy 18, 2016.
He was born in Pocahontas, the son of the late William Kennon and Birdie Lou Jones Cartwright. Living most of his adult life in Collierville, he was the owner/operator of Mack's Barber Shop for over 30 years. Mr. Cartwright served his country in the US Navy during the Korean Conflict. He was a witness to the first hydrogen bomb air test. He was the widower of Dorothy Dean Cartwright who passed away in August, 2015 after 57 years of marriage and was a member of Grace Baptist Church at Middleton, TN.
Survivors include his daughter, Birdie Hall; sons, Edward Earl and Barry Lynn Cartwright; 10 grandchildren and 2 great-grandchildren.
