Mozella Marie Clifton

Mozella Marie Cliftonwas born in Pocahontas, Tennessee on December 6, 1930 the daughter of the late Willie and Rosie Mullens Shannon.She was united in marriage to Roger Hugh Clifton, who preceded her in death on November 30, 1990.Mrs. Clifton was a member of the Nixon First Pentecostal Church.She departed this life on Monday, March 5, 2012 at the age of 81 years, 2 months, 28 days.She is survived by 5 daughters, Margie Wilbanks of Byhalia, Mississippi, Sue Nell Hodge, Debra Briley, Glenda Sullivan, and Sandra Scott all of Savannah, Tennessee; 7 sons, Harry Clifton of Middleton, Tennessee, Bobby Clifton of Savannah, Tennessee, Dale Clifton Pocahontas, Tennessee, Claude Clifton of Corinth, Mississippi, James Clifton of Ramer, Tennessee, Joe Clifton of Walnut, Mississippi, and Shane Clifton of Middleton, Tennessee; 23 grandchildren; 28 great grandchildren; a sister Humpey and a brother, T. Shannon both of Texas.In addition to her husband and parents she was preceded in death by a daughter, Rose Clifton; 3 grandchildren, Diane Wilbanks, Brandi Scott, and Hazel Wilbanks; a sister, Mildred; 2 brothers, Clyde Nabors and Gene Shannon.
