Morris ‘Big Mo’ Rish, 69, of Byhalia, MS passed away at his home July 8, 2008.
The husband of Kay Rish, he was a construction worker. He was born December 30, 1938 in Union City, TN to Hazel McFarland Rish and the late William Fred Rish and lived most of his life in Byhalia. He was a volunteer fireman at the Casey Fire Department, an avid hunter and fisherman, and a member of the Carpenters Local 345 in Memphis, TN and a member of the Christian Motorcyclist Association. He was Pentecostal in belief and was a member of the Family Tabernacle Church of God in Memphis, TN. He loved his family and the Lord.
In addition to his wife, whom he married May 12, 1967, and his mother, now of Memphis, survivors include four sons, William Morris Rish, Jr. of Memphis, Thomas Perry, Sr. and his wife Suzette, Ronny Perry, and Robert Rish, all of Byhalia; 7 grandchildren and 4 great-grandchildren. In addition to his father, who died on June 30, 2008, he was preceded in death by a daughter, Shannon Rish.
