MONEDITH COPELANDwas born in Hardin County, Tennessee on December 26, 1926 the daughter of the late Leonard Martin and Mamie Elizabeth Copeland Tilley.On October 21, 1947 she was united in marriage to Robert L. Copeland, who preceded his wife in death on October 12, 2004.Mrs. Copeland was a homemaker. She was a member of Turkey Creek Union Church. Mrs. Copeland enjoyed quilting, sewing and flowers.She departed this life on March 17, 2008 at the Park Rest Nursing Home in Savannah, Tennessee at the age of 81 years, 2 months and 20 days.Mrs. Copeland is survived by 2 daughters, Wanda Franks and her husband Jackie and Cathy D. Brown and husband Larry, all of Savannah, Tennesseeone son, Jimmy Earl Copeland of Savannah, Tennessee5 grandchildren, Danny E. Franks, Jennifer D. Benson, Regina Thomason, Robert D. Copeland and Shannon D. Brown3 great-grandchildren, Brittny Brown, Daniel Brown and Caleb Benson2 sisters, Louise Stricklin and Mary Sue Rust, both of Savannah, Tennessee2 brothers, Leslie Tilley of Savannah, Tennessee and Lester Tilley of Cookeville, TennesseeMrs. Copeland was also preceded in death by one son, Larry W.
