Mona Sowell

Mona Sowell was born on April 10, 1977 in Jackson, Tennessee, the daughter of the late Clyde Delane and Ada Belle Dickey Sowell.

Mona was a member of Crossroads Union Church in Savannah, Tennessee. She enjoyed playing games on her phone and writing poetry.

Mona Sowell departed this life on January 1, 2024 in Savannah, Tennessee at the age of 46 years, 8 months, and 22 days.

She is survived by her sons, Jacob Murphy and his fiancee' Samantha and Jordan Murphy, both of Savannah, Tennessee; brother, C.J. Sowell (Lynette) of Corpus Cove, Texas; and sisters, Lena Sowell (Marcella) of Divine, Texas and Judy Franks (Troy), Mitchalene O'Neal, and Monica O'Neal (Bud), all of Savannah, Tennessee.

In addition to her parents, Mona was preceded in death by her brother, Eddie Sowell.
