Misty Kay Robbins

Misty Kay Robbins was born August 8, 1998 in Florence, Alabama, the daughter of Douglas (Doug) James and Theresa Kay Alsbrook Robbins.



Misty was a fifth grade student at Wilson Elementary School. She was a member of the 4-H Club and the Midsouth Horse Association.



Misty departed this life on Saturday, March 7, 2009 in Iron City, Tennessee at the age of 10 Years, 6 Months, 27 Days.



She is survived by her parents, Douglas James and Theresa Kay Alsbrook Robbins, Iron City, TN; a brother, Cody James Robbins of Iron City, TN; Grandparents, Thomas Alsbrook of Florence, AL, Jimmy Robbins and companion, Joyce Whitehead of Lutts, TN, Shirley Hinton and husband, Billy of Cypress Inn, TN; Great-grandmother, Ethel Robbins of Lutts, TN; aunt and uncle, Donna and Sammy Hanback; cousins, Tori and Sam Hanback.



She is preceded in death by Grandparent, Claudie Alsbrook; Great-grandparents, Grace Horton, Dorothy White, Cecil Robbins.



Services will be held on Tuesday, March 10, 2009 at 1:00 PM at Railroad Church, Iron City, TN with Tim Hanback officiating. Burial will follow in the church cemetery with Shackelford Funeral Directors of Wayne County directing. Pallbearers will be Donnie Robertson, Harold Berry, Larry Robbins, Mike Reece, Clay Wills, Milt Howard.



Visitation will be Monday, March 9, 2009 from 6 pm to 9 pm and Tuesday, March 10, 2009 from 10 am until service time at Railroad Methodist Church, Iron City, Tennessee.
