Minnie Pearl Johnson

Minnie Pearl Wilson Johnson was born September 28, 1908 in McNairy County, TN the daughter of the late Amos and Bell Brown Wilson. She was united in marriage to Fred M. Johnson on October 11, 1927. Mr. Johnson preceded her in death on April 24, 1987.Mrs. Johnson was a homemaker . She was a member of the Curtis Hill Church of God of Prophecy in Selmer TN. Some of her favorite pastimes were quilting, gardening, going to church, and spending time with her family and friends.Mrs. Johnson departed this life on January 8, 2013 in Savannah, Tennessee at the age of 104 Years, 3 Months, 11 Days. She is survived by her daughter- in-law, Wanda Johnson of Bethel Springs, TN; four grandchildren, Michael Johnson of Ramer, TN, Jimmy Johnson and wife Terri of Adamsville, TN, Debbie Mitchell and husband David of Bethel Springs, TN, and Anna Kinsey and husband Bill of Selmer, TN; ten great grandchildren and six great great grandchildren.In addition to her husband and parents, Mrs. Johnson was preceded in death by a son, Dorris Johnson; two brothers, Arlie Wilson, J.W. Wilson; five sisters, Irene Cobb, Myrtie Smith, Jewell Moore, Eva Lou Gardner, Amy Hester; a grandchild, Geneva Johnson.
