Minnie Louella Dixon Graham was born in Savannah, Tennessee on October 12, 1921 the daughter of Riggs and Jill Dixon.
Minnie married William Charles Graham and to this union eight children were born. She was preceded in death by her parents, husband; three children, William Jr., Larry and Danny; five brothers, John, Joe, Arthur, Sam, and Bud Dixon; five sisters, Aline, Irine, Betty, Gladys, and Mary.
Minnie confessed Christ at an early age and joined St. John Baptist Church. She enjoyed attending Sunday School, was a Deaconess and served in many activities of the church. She attended faithfully until her health started to fail. Minnie was a faithful member of the Eastern Star.
To know Minnie was to love her. She always had a way of making you laugh whenever you were in her presence. Her hobbies were cross stitching and quilting...sometimes that would last all day.
On Wednesday, January 18, 2012, in her home around 1:00 AM, Minnie departed this life and went to be with the Lord.
Minnie leaves to cherish and celebrate her loving memories, five children, Sam Graham, Elijah Graham both of Savannah, Tennessee, Mitchell Graham (Edna) of Chicago, Illinois, Josh Graham of Memphis, Tennessee, Pearl Thames (Willie Gene) of Markham, Illinois; two sisters-in-law, Jessie Harper of Los Angeles, California and Christine Dixon of Harvey, Illinois; two specials, Chaney Winters and Jo Casey; a best friend, Mary Algee of Paducah, Kentucky; a host of nieces, nephews and many, many friends.
She will truly be missed by all who knew and loved her.
