Minnie Faye Donaldson

Minnie Faye Donaldson was born September 25, 1927 in McNairy County, Tennessee the daughter of James Parker Martin and Bertie Lavinia Gilchrist Martin. She was retired from Garan Sportswear in Adamsville after 35 years service. She was also a member of Adamsville First Baptist Church and WMU.Mrs. Donaldson departed this life on December 5, 2005 in Selmer, Tennessee at the age of 78 Years, 2 Months, 10 Days.Survivors are her husband of nearly 60 years Grady Donaldson of Adamsville, Tennessee; a daughter Lisa Bearden and husband, Ben of Adamsville, Tennessee; 3 sons, George Donaldson and wife Kay of Selmer, Tennessee, Terry Donaldson and wife Kathy of Adamsville, Tennessee, Ted Donaldson and wife Jan of Memphis, Tennessee; 2 sisters, Evelyn Williams of Nashville, Tennessee, Loudean Inman of Memphis, Tennessee; 2 brothers, Kenny Martin of Carmichael, California, Edd R. Martin of Adamsville, Tennessee; 8 grandchildren, Lori Donaldson Knerr, Stephanie Donaldson McCullough, Stacy Donaldson, Jessica Bearden, Rachel Bearden, Rebecca Bearden , Sarah Donaldson, Rachel Donaldson; 2 great-grandchildren, Sam Summers and Lily McCullough. Other than her parents, Mrs. Donaldson was preceded in death by siblings Lora Ozment, Wilma Smith, Gavin Martin, Clifford Martin, Gilcie Martin, John Neal Martin and J. P. Martin.
