Minnie Arnold

Henderson, TN: Alice Minnie Latham Arnold age 79, passed away October 1, 2010 at Chester County Healthcare.She was born and reared in the New Friendship Community of Chester County, the daughter of the late Burl and Virgie Latham. She attended schools at New Friendship and Chester County High School. She was married to Allen A. Arnold in 1947 and they made their home in the New Friendship Community of Chester County. She worked for Oakley Fashions in Jackson for 35 years and after her retirement from Oakley Fashions she worked for I Appeal Corp. for several years. She assisted her husband in operating Hill Top Grocery. She moved to Chester County Healthcare in January 2002. She was a member of the Big Springs United Methodist Church.She is survived by her husband, Allen A. Arnold of Henderson; a son, Allen L. Arnold of Beech Bluff; two daughters, Kay Stewart of Bartlett and Susie Terry of Forney, TX; a brother, Boyce Latham of Jackson; two sisters, Lillian Bridges and Helen Hurst both Jackson; six grandchildren and ten great-grandchildren.She was preceded in death by a grandson, Cody Allen Stewart in 2005; a sister, Maxine Connor and two brothers, Mauldin Latham and Richard Latham.
