On April 11, 1936 she was united in marriage to Carl N. Stanfill who preceded her in death on February 15, 2000. Mrs. Stanfill was a homemaker and a member of the First Methodist Church of Adamsville.
She departed this life on March 7, 2006 at Park Rest Nursing Home in Savannah, Tennessee at the age of 84 years, 8 months and 10 days.
Mrs. Stanfill is survived by 2 sons: Billy Ray Stanfill of Huntsville, Alabama and Hugh Stanfill of Savannah, Tennessee
10 grandchildren, 14 great-grandchildren and 3 great-great-grandchildren.
In addition to her parents and her husband, Carl N. Stanfill, she was preceded in death by
2 sons: Dwayne Stanfill and Roy Stanfill; one grandchild, Richard Stanfill and 8 brothers and sisters: Ruby Williams, Virginia Moffett, Ray Scott, Taft Scott, Amy Scott, Tracy Scott, Teddy Scott and Mamie Seaton.
