Millard Ashe was born November 26, 1920 in McNairy County, Tennessee the son of the late John and Patie Hawkins Ashe.
He was a member of Good Hope Baptist Church in Adamsville and a farmer.
Mr. Ashe passed from this life on Saturday, July 16, 2005 at Baptist Hospital East in Memphis at the age of 84 years, 7 months and 20 days.
Mr. Ashe is survived by two daughters, Janet Weaver of Oakland, Tennessee; Charlotte Ashe of Adamsville;
Two sisters, Ruby Davis of Selmer; Bessie Woods of Memphis;
Two brothers, J. D. Ashe of Adamsville; W. C. (Preacher) Ashe of Selmer;
Two granchildren, Chad Weaver of Taylorsville, Kentucky; Angela Wade of Oakland;
Four great grandchildren, Brock Weaver; Austin Wade; Marissa Weaver; and Tucker Wade.
Other than his parents, Mr. Ashe was preceded by his wife, Davie Lee Plunk Ashe.
