MILDRED ANN WHITE
was born in Hardin County, Tennessee on January 17, 1945 the daughter of the late Samuel Stephens and Mary Jane Sinclair Tall.
On December 12, 1961 she was united in marriage to Leroy White, Jr., who preceded his wife in death on July 2, 1983.
Mrs. White was a case manager for the State of Tennessee Department of Human Services for 30 years. She was a member of Graham Chapel CME Church in Savannah and was former President of Missionary Society. Mrs. White was a friend to everyone, loved her church and was best cook in Savannah. She was a very neat lady enjoyed being fashionable and was the best mother in the world.
Mrs. White departed this life on May 19, 2010 at the Vanderbilt Medical Center in Nashville, Tennessee at the age of 65 years, 4 months and 2 days.
Mrs. White is survived by one daughter, Melody Denise White of Savannah, Tennessee and 3 sons, Leroy White, III and his wife Virginia of Savannah, Tennessee, David O'Neal White and his wife Sheila of Memphis, Tennessee and Jeffrey L. White and his wife Maria of Savannah, Tennessee
6 grandchildren, Marcus Devin White, Kristen Leigh Ann White, Sheldon Sinclair White, Paul Richard White, Matthew Hunter White, Diontae' Thompson
In addition to her parents and husband, she was also preceded in death by one son, Paul B. White and one brother, David Milton Sinclair.
