Mildred Thomas

Mildred Martin Thomas was born May 10, 1937 in Ramer, Tennessee the daughter of the late James Edgar and Violet Mae Leatherwood Martin.



She was united in marriage to George Wesley Thomas in 1960. Mr. Thomas preceded her in death on August 29, 1972.



Mrs. Thomas was a van driver for Adesa Car Auction . She was a member of the Antioch Church Of Christ in Ramer, Tennessee.



Mrs. Thomas departed this life on March 20, 2010 in Selmer, Tennessee at the age of 72 Years, 10 Months, 10 Days. She is survived by two sons, Mike Thomas of Ramer, TN, James Thomas and wife Jammie of Ramer, TN; four grandchildren, T.J. Johnston and wife Regina of Meridian, MS, Breanna Renee Thomas of Ramer, TN, Jesse Thomas of Ramer, TN, Wesley Thomas of Ramer, TN; two great grandchildren, Duece Johnston of Meridian, TN, Katielynn Johnston of Meridian, MS; seven sisters, Iller (Martin) Teague of Gravel Hill, TN, Hattie (Martin) Baker of Ramer, TN, Lillie (Martin) Emerson and husband David of Henderson, TN, Elizabeth (Bug) (Martin) Carter and husband J.V. of Pocahontas, TN, Dorothy (Martin) Winters and husband Jimmy of Ramer, TN, Tommie (Martin) Carter and husband Albert of Pocahontas, TN, Shirley (Martin) Wren and husband Larry of Guys, TN; a brother, Andrew Martin and wife Linda of Ramer, TN; sister-in-law, Barbara Martin; host of nieces, nephews and cousins.



In addition to her husband and parents, Mrs. Thomas was preceded in death by three brothers, James Albert Martin, Ernest Lee Martin, and an infant brother.
