Mildred Dicus Holder

Mildred Dicus Holder departed this life on Saturday, October 8, 2022, at the age of 76 years, 11 months, and 17 days. She was born in Clifton, Tennessee, October 21, 1945, the daughter of the late Roy and Lota Pearl McDonald Dicus. On May 24, 1980, she was united in marriage to Hollie "Babe" Holder, who preceded her in death on January 23, 2020.

Mildred retired from Clifton Manufacturing and was a member of the First Baptist Church in Clifton, Tennessee. She loved reading the Bible, visiting and talking with friends, sewing, and playing with her grandchildren.

Mildred is survived by her children, Charles Templeton, Kenneth Templeton, Willard Templeton, Stacy Templeton, Norman, Holder, and Regina Beaty and her husband Bob; sisters, Valerie Battles, Diane Prater, Roberta Brown and Mary Pevehouse; brother, Jerry "Perchy" Dicus; grandchildren, Adam Templeton, Austin Templeton, Kyla Risner, Kristen Templeton, Brook Templeton, Macy Warren, Ashely Franks, Tara Walford, Gavin Templeton, Stephanie Bender, and Sarah Isaacs; and great grandchildren, Jax, Ava Kate, Aubrey, Keegan, Cassidy, Raylyn, Blair, Ella, Whit, Madison, Little Rickey, Hollie Beth, Carson, Henry and Lexie.

In addition to her parents and her husband, Mildred was preceded in death by her granddaughter, Hollie Templeton; brothers, Roy "Boose" Dicus, Terry Lee Dicus, James "Grover" Dicus, and George Edward Dicus; and sisters, Virginia Sue Franks, Jimmie Nell Davis, and Penny Lou Dicus.
