William Michael Adams

William Michael Adams, age 74, of Bolivar, departed this life on Monday, November 13, 2023, at Jackson-Madison County General Hospital.

He was born in St. Mary's Hospital, Humboldt, TN on Thursday, June 23, 1949 to the late William Bert Adams and Rosie Nell Russell Adams Sykes.   "Mike", as he was known to many, was joined in marriage to Diane Watkins on February 5, 1972 and was employed as a tool and die maker at Harmon Automotive in Bolivar for 26 years.  

Mr. Adams was a United States Marine veteran having served in Vietnam and was a member of Bolivar First Baptist Church.  In his spare time enjoyed fishing and hunting.

He leaves his wife of 51 years, Diane Adams of Bolivar; daughter, Amy Adams-Lanier (Lance) of Arlington; four sisters, Marilyn Russell (Barry) of Bolivar, Samantha Howell (Timmy) of Middleton, Sara Beth Reiss (Andrew) of Nashville and, Susie Ross (Jeremy) of Bolivar; two brothers, Keith and Ross Adams, both of Bolivar; five grandchildren, Hayden Caroline Adams-Jackson, Hudson Davis Jackson, Jules Claire Lanier, Jacie Quinn Lanier and Rex Lee Lanier; and step-parents, Gerald and Jo Ann Sykes of Bolivar.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a daughter, Penny Adams-Jackson; and a sister, Deborah Sue Adams.
