Michelle Tranum

Michelle Tranum, age 36 of Middleton, passed from this life Monday evening, February 2, 2009 at Bolivar General Hospital.She was born March 3, 1972 in Ripley, Mississippi, to Kenneth and Teresa Hastings Howell of Middleton. She was a member of the Middleton High School graduating class of 1990 and married Travis Dale Tranum November 29, 1991. She had been working in the cafeteria at Bolivar Central High School and was a very active member at the Brint's Chapel Baptist Church, having given her life to Christ at a young age. In addition to her husband and parents, survivors include two children, Michael and Chelsea Tranum; a sister, Sharon Turner of Hickory Valley; a brother, Joey Howell of Hickory Valley; her maternal grandmother and grandfather Art and Edna Vickers of Middleton, TN; five nieces and nephews, Zeke and Allie Turner, Cadence and Easton Howell and A.J. Tranum; and a father-in-law Travis Tranum and wife Phyllis. She is preceded in death by her maternal grandfather, Albert Hastings; her paternal grandparents, Elbert and Lula Howell; and her mother-in-law, Deborah Faye Tranum.
