A native of Memphis, Tennessee, Michelle Burton worked as an associate of Wal-Mart. She was born January 3, 1967 to Barbara Jane Hill, spent the largest part of her life in Hardeman County and lived her last two years in Hartsville, TN. She was a Baptist in belief.
In addition to her mother, survivors include two daughters, Brittany and Jessica Burton of Hartsville, TN; a grandmother, Elaine Hill of Memphis; two step-brothers, Ray Ross of Shelby County and Billy Ross of Oakland; two aunts, Janet Norton of DeSoto County, and Annette Goins of Shelby County; and two uncles, Terry Hill of Shelby County and Lynn Hill of DeSoto County.
