Michael Raye Shelton

Services for Michael Raye Shelton, age 44, of Waynesboro, TN, will be Sunday, July 29, 2007 at 1 pm at Shackelford Funeral Home Chapel, Waynesboro, with Leo Doyle, Coy Daniel Young, and Rodger McCoy Young officiating. Burial will be in Mt. Hope Cemetery, Waynesboro, with Shackelford Funeral Directors of Wayne County assisting. Visitation will be Saturday, July 28, 2007 from 6 pm to 9 pm and Sunday, July 29, 2007 from 12:30 pm to service time at the funeral home. Pallbearers will be Coy Young, Coy Daniel Young, Rodger McCoy Young, George Guthrie, Phillip Beaulac, and Mike Schwartz. He died in an automobile accident in Rutledge, TN, Wednesday, July 25, 2007.
Mr. Shelton, a native of Nashville, TN, was an electrical journeyman, was a United States Navy veteran, and was a member of the Church of God, Antioch, TN. He was preceded in death by his father, James E. Shelton and sister, Mindy Shelton.
Survivors, wife, Jeanine Young Shelton; daughters, Morgan Michelle Shelton and Maegan Anne Shelton, all of Waynesboro, TN, Kirsten Jeanine Hoover, Iuka, MS; mother, Anne Michelle Shelton, and uncle, Mike Schwartz, both of Donelson, TN
