Mervin E. Baugus

MERVIN E. BAUGUSdeparted this life on December 14, 2012, at the age of 71 years, 7 months, and 2 days.Mervin was born in Hardin County, Tennessee, May 12, 1941, to the late Laudis and Amy Franks Baugus. He married Kathy Merion Vanhoose Baugus in 1971.He was a lifetime resident of the Burnt Church Community and attended the Turkey Creek Union Church. He was retired, having worked as a concrete finisher and was employed by Hassle Lumber Company. He enjoyed working in his garden and doing yard work. He loved cats and gave a home to many of them.Mervin is survived by his wife Kathy Marion Vanhoose Baugus, brother, Leon Baugus and sister, Mary Thelda Norton, many nieces and nephews.In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by his brothers, Melvin Baugus and Marcell Baugus.
