Melody Ann Surratt

Melody Ann Whitley Surratt was born December 26, 1956 in Fort Benning, GA, the daughter of the late William (Bill) Ross and Nancy Ann Drinkard Whitley. She departed this life on October 9, 2023 in Savannah, Tennessee at the age of 66 Years, 9 Months, 13 Days.

She was united in marriage to Tommy Joe Surratt on March 31, 2000. Mr. Surratt preceded her in death on May 16, 2018. She was a member of the Bethel Springs Presbyterian Church. She worked for Aqua Glass for many years. She was also a homemaker. She has been a resident of HMC Health & Rehabilitation Center for the past two years, but always was a proud member of the Good Hope Community.

She is survived by two brothers, Ross Whitley and wife Joyce of Bethel Springs, TN, Lee Whitley and wife Josie of Pickwick, TN; two step sons, Brad Surratt and wife Wendy and family, Chris Surratt and wife Lindsey and family all of Adamsville, TN; two nephews, Grant Whitley of Selmer, TN, and Dalton Whitley of Bethel Springs, TN.
