Melissa Ann Melson Walker, departed this life on Saturday, August 27, 2016 at Maury Regional Hospital in Columbia, Tennessee at the age of 58 Years, 7 Months, 27 Days. She was born December 31, 1957 in Waynesboro, TN the daughter of Lonzo Harvey and Lillie Ann Murphy Melson of Waynesboro, TN.
Melissa was a housekeeper.
She is survived by her parents , Fiance' Donnie Sharp, brother, James Harvey Melson and wife Pam, sisters, Judy Faye Holt and husband Stan and Rita Ann Moon and husband Ernie all of Waynesboro, TN. several nieces , nephews, great nieces and great nephews. step grandson, Bruce McClain and step granddaughter, Samantha Staggs.
She is preceded in death by grandparents, Maudie and Albert Murphy , John and Lina Melson, nephew, Bradley Burns and step daughter, Telissa McNeese .
Services will be held on Tuesday, August 30, 2016 at 3:00 PM at Shackelford Funeral Home in Waynesboro, Tennessee, with Casey Jones officiating. Burial will follow in Shields Cemetery, Waynesboro, Tennessee with Shackelford Funeral Directors in charge of the arrangements.
Visitation will be on Monday, August 29, 5:00-9:00 pm and on Tuesday, August 30, 8:00 am until service time @ Shackelford Funeral Home, Waynesboro.
Pallbearers: Jamie Burns, Tyler Burns, Hunter Burns, Rocky Caudell, Ernie Moon and Jason Holt.
