Melba McCaslandwas born in Hardin County, Tennessee the daughter of the late Troy Anderson and Madolin Smith.On August 01, 1941 she married James Otis McCasland of Adamsville, Tennessee, who survives.During her life Mrs. McCasland worked as a seamstress at Harwood Manufacturing before she retired. She was a member of the Christian Assembly United Pentecostal Church of Adamsville and a member of the VFW Ladies Auxilliary. She enjoyed cooking, sewing, playing with her grandchildren, going to church,and taking care of her family.Mrs. McCasland departed this life Tuesday, November 27, 2007 at the age of 82 years, 4 months, 5 days.In addition to her husband she is survived by her daughter, Sue Ann Briley of Adamsville, Tennessee; 4 grandsons: Richie Barber, Jeff Barber, Greg Barber, Eric Barber; 5 great-grandchildren: Jessie Bryant, Lauren Barber, Logan Barber, Kaley Pettigrew, Case Barber.
