Melba Jean Daniel

Mrs. Melba Jean Harper Daniel, was born September 3, 1939 in Wayne County, TN, the daughter of the late Wylie Lonzo and Opal Roberson Harper. She was a baby sitter and a member of the Scotts Chapel Freewill Baptist Church and departed this life on Wednesday, January, 20, 2021 at Wayne Medical Center in Waynesboro, Tennessee at the age of 81 Years, 4 Months, 17 Days. She is survived by sons, Dennis L. Daniel, wife, Melissa of Cypress Inn, TN and Jeffrey C. Daniel, wife, Donna, grandsons, Andrew Daniel, wife, Breanna and Justin C. Daniel, wife, Whitney and great-grandchildren, Saylor Jo Daniel and Etta Jewel Daniel all of Lawrenceburg, TN. In addition to her parents, Mrs. Daniel was preceded in death by a son, Barry Daniel; brother, Everett Harper; sister, Evelyn Danley and a great-grandchild, Evee Ann Daniel. A private family graveside service will be held at Memorial Gardens of Wayne County, Collinwood, TN with Junior Overstreet officiating. Shackelford Funeral Directors is assisting the family. Her family requests that in lieu of flowers memorial donations be given to the Butterfly Foundation or to the Pink Ladies Group.
