Mazie Irene Spencer

Mazie Irene Spencer was born on November 15, 1915 in Savannah, Tennessee the daughter of the late Jim and Fannie Elizabeth Arnold Horton.

On October 31, 1935, she was united in marriage to Willie K. Spencer, who preceded his wife in death on July 18, 1960. Mrs. Spencer was a homemaker and a member of Eureka Methodist Church.

She departed this life on September 2, 2005 at Hardin Medical Center in Savannah at the age of 89 years, 9 months and 18 days.

Mrs. Spencer is survived by

4 sons: James K. Spencer, John A. Spencer

and Billy M. Spencer, all of Savannah, Tennessee,

Jerry D. Spencer of Adamsville, Tennessee;

One daughter, Becky Bridges of Adamsville;

14 grandchildren and 12 great-grandchildren.

In addition to her parents and husband, she was preceded in death by 2 daughters: Barbara Kay Spencer and Janice Marion Wilbanks;

2 brothers: Frank Horton and Coleman Horton

and 2 sisters: Lella Rose and Della Parrish.
