Maye Ervin Crowley

Mrs. Maye Ervin Crowley of Bolivar departed this life at the age of 88 Years, one Month, and 29 Days Sunday afternoon, November 25, 2012 at her home.
She was born in Toone, Tennessee September 27, 1924 to the late Henry and Ada Scarbrough Hill and lived all of her life in Hardeman County. The widow of Mr. Jack Crowley, who passed away November 23, 2007, she worked as a Certified Nurse's Aid at Brint's Nursery Home and was Baptist in belief. Among her hobbies, she enjoyed gardening, growing flowers and spending time with her family, which she loved very much.
She is survived by two sons, Bill Ervin of Toone and Ray C. Ervin of Middleton; three daughters, Dorothy Davis of Toone, Juddie Schnackenberg of Bolivar and Betty Tosh of Bolivar; two sisters, Ruth Simer of Greentown, Indiana and Birdie Wilson of Nashville; eleven grandchildren and many great-grandchildren.
In addition to her husband and parents, she is preceded in death by three sisters, Bessie Dodd, Sue Rast and Elizabeth Ayers; and four brothers, J. T. Hill, James Horace Hill, Clyde Hill, and Tillmon Hill.
