Maxine Smith

Maxine Smith was born in McNairy County, Tennessee on July 13, 1930 the daughter of the late William Lee and Ivy Berniece Meek Britton.Mrs. Smith was a homemaker and farmer, who enjoyed gardening and her special dog, Cricket. She was of Baptist belief.Mrs. Smith departed this life on Wednesday, February 13, 2008 at the age of 77 years, 7 months.She is survived by 2 sons: Jackie Smith of Milledgeville, Tennessee, Jimmy Smith and his wife Debbie of Milledgeville, Tennessee; 3 brothers: Maxell Britton of Memphis, Tennessee, Paige Britton of Henderson ,Tennessee, Ted Britton of Bethel Springs, Tennessee; 1 sister: Christine Jones of Adamsville, Tennessee; 2 grandchildren: Stacey Smith and Clint Smith.In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband: Leo Smith.
