Services for Maxine (Max) Miller Morgan, 83, Collinwood, TN, will be Saturday, February 4, 2006 at 1:00 pm at Shackelford Funeral Home Chapel, Collinwood, TN with Keith Collier officiating. Burial will be in McGlamery Cemetery, Collinwood, TN with Shackelford Funeral Directors of Wayne County in charge of the arrangements.
Visitation will be Friday, February 3, 2006 from 6 pm to 9 pm and Saturday, February 4, 2006 from 9 am to service time at the funeral home in Collinwood, TN.
She died at Wayne Medical Center, Waynesboro, TN, Thursday, February 02, 2006.
Mrs. Morgan, a native of Collinwood, TN, was a retired Genesco employee and was a member of the Church of Christ.
She was a daughter of the late Sam and Octa Adkisson Miller, the wife of the late Bruce F. Morgan, the mother of the late Elizabeth Ann Morgan Thrasher, and a sister of the late Waymon Miller, Sam Miller, Jr., Shelby Repp, and Lucille Dale.
Survivors, son, James Wesley Morgan, Iron City, TN, grandchildren, Sherry Gallien, Jerry Thrasher, Jennifer Vandiver, and Jason Morgan, ten great-grandchildren, one great-great-grandchild, brothers, Lawrence Miller, Florence, AL, Cecil Miller, Amarillo, TX, several nieces and nephews
