Maxine D English

Maxine D English of Jackson, TN, formerly of Adamsville, TN, was born March 24, 1931 in McNairy County, TN the daughter of the late Phillip Mack and Cordelia Littlejohn Dickey. She was a member of Adamsville Church of God of Prophecy. She was a resident of Maplewood Health Care in Jackson for four years. Maxine was known for her kind spirit and love for life. She loved everyone and enjoyed gospel music.

Mrs. English departed this life on October 26, 2016 at Jackson Madison County General Hospital in Jackson, Tennessee at the age of 85 Years, 6 Months, 29 Days.

She is survived by a daughter, Melissa Pamala Cook of Jackson, TN; a sister, Doris Michael and husband Alton of Jackson, TN; a grandchild, David Parker and wife Mickie of Corinth, MS; two great grandchildren, Josie and Luke Parker; and a host of nieces and nephews.

In addition to her husband and parents, Mrs. English was preceded in death by three sisters, four brothers and a grandson.
