Max Seaton
was born in Hardin County, Tennessee on January 6, 1933 the son of the late Carl Alexander and Blanche Caperton Seaton.
On November 2, 1952 he was united in marriage to the former Rubye Whitlow, who survives. Mr. Seaton served with the National Guard for 17 years. He retired from his position as a General Sessions Judge for Hardin County and had worked for Shackelford Funeral Home and the Hardin County Highway Department. He had also worked as a business owner and farmer. Mr. Seaton was a Scottish Rite Mason and a member of the Savannah Masonic Lodge #102. He had lived in “The Fork†all of his life and was known as a good husband, father and grandfather.
He departed this life on September 7, 2006 at Hardin Medical Center in Savannah, Tennessee at the age of 73 years, 8 months and 1 day.
Mr. Seaton is survived by his wife, Rubye Whitlow Seaton of Savannah;
4 sons: Dennis Seaton and his wife, Rebecca; Randy Seaton and his wife, Sherry;
Nicky Seaton and his wife, Lois Ann; and Greg Seaton and his wife, Rhonda,
all of Savannah;
8 grandchildren: Ben Seaton, Charlie Seaton, Mallory Seaton, Alex Seaton, Kali Seaton, Carly Seaton, Whit Seaton and Allie Seaton;
and one brother, Billy Seaton of Savannah.
