Max McLain
was born on May 17, 1956 in Montgomery, Alabama the son of the late Carman Dwight and Mary Virginia Plunk McLain.
On October 2, 1998 he was united in marriage to the former Pam Franks, who survives.
Mr. McLain lived in Savannah and was employed at a sawmill.
He departed this life on March 26, 2006 at Hardin Medical Center in Savannah, Tennessee at the age of 49 years, 10 months and 9 days.
Mr. McLain is survived by his wife, Pam Franks McLain; 2 daughters: Misty Shoemake and Brandy McLain; one son, Scotty McLain; one step-daughter, Jessica Hudson and one step-son, James Hudson, all of Savannah, Tennessee; 3 grandchildren; and 2 sisters: Myra Vaughan of Crump, Tennessee and Mickie Jones of Selmer, Tennessee.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by one grandchild and a sister, Betty Jo McLain.
