Max C. Maples

Max C. Maples was born November 17, 1932 in Waynesboro, Tennessee, the son of the late Lawrence Conrad (Brownie) and Bobbie Lorene Martin Maples. Mr. Maples died at his home on Hurricane Creek Road Friday, April 17, 2009 at the age of 76 Years and 5 Months. In addition to his parents, Mr. Maples was preceded in death by a daughter, Connie Jane Maples; four brothers, Joe Maples, James Maples, Glenn Maples, and Roy Maples; and a sister, Ruth Maples. He was retired from Lincoln Brass and was a member of the National Rifle Association and Trail Riders Club.He is survived by his wife Margie (Jones) Maples; a daughter, Aileen Hollis; three sons, Mike Maples, Gene Maples, and Bobby Maples all of Waynesboro, TN; 10 grandchildren and 9 great grandchildrenServices will be held Monday, April 20, 2009 at 1:00 PM at Shackelford Funeral Chapel in Waynesboro with Jerry Robbins and Laverne Griggs officiating. Burial will follow in the Shields Cemetery with Shackelford Funeral Directors of Wayne County in charge of arrangements.
