Max Berry Cole

Graveside services for Max Berry Cole, age 89, of Waynesboro, TN will be Wednesday, February 27, 2008 at 1 pm at Memorial Gardens, Waynesboro, with W. C. Flippo officiating. Military rites will follow with Shackelford Directors of Wayne County directing. Visitation will be Tuesday, February 26, 2008 from 6 pm to 9 pm and Wednesday, February 27, 2008 from 8 am until 12 noon at Shackelford Funeral Home in Waynesboro. He died a Maury Regional Hospital in Columbia, TN on Sunday, February 24, 2008.



Mr. Cole, a native of Wayne County, TN, was a retired Genesco worker and road supervisor. He was a U. S. Army veteran of WW II and a member of First Baptist Church in Waynesboro.



He was preceded in death by his parents, Thomas Ben and Mae Hardin Cole, his wife, Marietta Templeton Cole, a daughter, Linda Brewer, and a granddaughter, Angela Thomas.



Survivors, son, Thomas Craig Cole, Columbia, TN; daughter, Wanda Thomas, Waynesboro, TN; four grandchildren; seven great-grandchildren; five great-great-grandchildren
