Mavoureen L. Taylor

Mavoureen L. Taylor of Ramer, Tennessee, was born on November 7, 1922, daughter of the late Flonie Locke and Allie B. Sweat Locke. She worked for Brown Shoe Company in Selmer for approximately 20 years and ITT in Corinth, Mississippi, for approximately 15 years. Mavoureen was a member of the Ramer, Tennessee, Cumberland Presbyterian Church. She was an avid gardener who loved growing vegetables, canning, and sharing them with her friends.She passed from this life on Wednesday, May 13, 2009, in Iuka, Mississippi, at the age of 86 years, 6 months, and 6 days.Survivors are three daughters, Louise Jackson and husband Grady of Counce, Tennessee, Shelby Rimmer and husband K. D. of Bartlett, Tennessee, and Rhonda Hively and husband Clark of Selmer, Tennessee; a son, Wayne Taylor and wife Janie of Selmer. 6 grandchildren and 13 great-grandchildren. A host of other relatives and friends.
