Mauline Jamerson Singleton was born October 22, 1914 in McNairy County, Tennessee the daughter of the late James Elmer and Cassie Moore Jamerson.
She was united in marriage to Frank Singleton who preceded her in death on August 27, 1980.
Mrs. Singleton was a homemaker. She was a member of the Methodist Church and was a charter member of the Leapwood FEC Club. She was also an avid gardener and loved to share her plants with her friends.
She departed this life on April 11, 2007 in Savannah, Tennessee at the age of 92 Years, 5 Months, 20 Days. Mrs. Singleton is survived by two daughters, Joanne Stewart and husband Bob of Cordova, Tennessee and Linda Browning and husband Larry of Selmer, Tennessee; a son, James Singleton and wife Pat of Charleston, Arkansas; four sisters, Pauline Hair of Adamsville, Tennessee, Mandy Amerson of Bethel Springs, Tennessee, Nell Nowlin of Stantonville, Tennessee and Jean Cox of Hornsby, Tennessee; eight grandchildren, Billy Frank Singleton, Kathy Singleton Phillips, Roxanna Stewart Johnson, Jamie Stewart Benedict, Jeffrey Browning, Melinda Browning Wagner, Joel Browning and Suzanne Singleton Maher; nine great grandchildren, Daniel Singleton, Brandy Singleton, Sarah Phillips, Crissie Phillips, Eric Johnson, Emily Johnson, Matthew Browning, Allyson Browning, Mason Maher and one great great grandchild, Sarah Johnson.
In addition to her husband and parents, Mrs. Singleton was preceded in death by a son, Billy Gene Singleton on April 22, 1992.
