Maudie Ann Vickery

Services for Maudie Vickery, 91, Florence, AL will be Friday, September 21, 2007 at 1 pm at Christian Faith Church, Florence, with Dennis Hanvey and Ronnie McKissack officiating. Burial will be in Antioch Cemetery, Florence, with Shackelford Funeral Directors of Wayne County directing. Pallbearers will be Jerry Vickery, Jr., Michael Vickery, Dewayne Vickery, Tim Baskins, Ricky Anthony, Robert Jeffreys. Visitation is at the church.



Mrs. Vickery died at Glenwood Convalescent Center after a brief illness. A native of Lauderdale County, AL, she was a retired grocery store clerk, homemaker, and a member of Christian Faith Church and was preceded in death by parents, Henry and Martha Brewer Montgomery, husband, Raymon Vickery, sons, Thomas, Harless, and Jerry Vickery.



Survivors, sons, Raymon Walden Vickery, Cloverdale, Frankie (Betty) Vickery, Florence, Harvey (Oueda) Vickery, Sheffield; daughters, Viva Baskins, Florence, Dean (Tom Haney, fiance’) Anthony, Cloverdale; sister, Cordelia Sharp, Florence; twenty-one grandchildren; forty-seven great-grandchildren; twenty-two great-great-grandchildren; nieces and nephews.
