She was united in marriage to James Olen Dancer on September 12, 1942. Mr. Dancer preceded her in death on November 24, 1984.
Mrs. Dancer was a homemaker . She was a member of the Sulphur Springs United Methodist Church.
Mrs. Dancer departed this life on November 12, 2010 in Selmer, Tennessee at the age of 84 Years, 11 Months, 6 Days. She is survived by three sons, Larry Dancer and wife Brenda of Kossuth, MS, Charlie E. Dancer and wife Phylllis of Beech Bluff, TN, Curtis Dancer of Selmer, TN; four daughters, Mary Sue Reynolds and husband Gerald of Olive Branch, MS, Diane Parmely of Selmer, TN, Linda Moody of Selmer, TN, Dina Mitchell and husband Stanley of Selmer, TN; two sisters, Opal Knight Rinehart and husband Jim of Rienzi, MS, Joyce Fisher of Ramer, TN; seventeen grandchildren, Stacy Dancer, Johnny Cox, Debbie Burcham, Patty Treadway, Gerald Wayne Reynolds, Shannon Reynolds, Chris Dancer, Barry Dancer, Kevin Parmely, Shane Parmely, Tommy Parmely, Adam Parmely, Alan Parmely, Scotty Parmely, Krystle Parmely, Colton Mitchell and Megan Mitchell; eighteen great grandchildren, Steven Burcham, Mikayla Treadway, Trent Treadway, Chelsa Reynolds, G.W. Reynolds, Caitlin Fears, Daze Adams, Eva Dancer, Ashton Dancer, Malcolm Dancer, Taylor Parmely, Tanner Parmely, Dylan Parmely, Ayden Parmely, Kylen Hilliard, Blake Parmely, Bradley Parmely and Bailee Parmely.
In addition to her husband and parents, Mrs. Dancer was preceded in death by granddaughter, Candy Parmely; a sister, Oda Mae Samples.
