Maud Misegadis Snyder was born April 8, 1912 in Rush Center, Kansas the daughter of George and Marie Misegadis. She was united in marriage to Ermal Snyder, who preceded her in death on December 23, 1987. Mrs. Snyder and her family migrated to Tennessee from Missouri in 1959, living in a 100 year old log cabin near the Leapwood community. She was a homemaker, and was one of Jehovah's Witnesses, serving as a Regular Pioneer Minister. She was also a certified Reflexologist. Mrs. Snyder departed this life on May 23, 2009 in Huntingdon, Tennessee at the age of 97 Years, 1 Month, 15 Days. She is survived by three sons: Donald R. Snyder and wife Linda of Huntingdon, TN, Stanley O. Snyder Sr. and wife Debbie of La Vergne, TN and Wayne A. Snyder and wife Kathy of Corinth, MS; a sister, Mae Slaghal and husband C. J. of Lacrosse, KS; eleven grandchildren: Aaron Snyder, Andrew Snyder, Stanley Snyder Jr., Raymond Martin, Melinda Wells, Mark Million, Joe Snyder, Kenny Snyder, Crystal Snyder, Grant Snyder, and Latisha Snyder; 13 great-grandchildren and 3 great-great-grandchildren. In addition to her husband and parents, Mrs. Snyder was preceded in death by a son, Raymond Million; ten brothers; and a great-grandchild, Chelsea Grace Snyder. Memorial services will be scheduled in Adamsville and Smyrna, Tennessee at a later time.
