Mattie Donahoe

Mattie Baker Donahoe was born July 17, 1917 in Michie, Tennessee the daughter of the late James Walter and Nannie Hooker Baker.
She was united in marriage to Carl Donahoe on November 18, 1933. Mr. Donahoe preceded her in death on July 2, 1988. They where married for 54 years and 8 months.
Mrs. Donahoe was a Sale Associate of 18 years at Sterling's in Corinth until it closed and changed to Alco where she retired, MS. She was a faithful member of the Michie Church of God of Prophecy and theSenior Citizens both in Michie, Tennessee. Mrs. Donahoe departed this life on January 27, 2008 in Michie, Tennessee at the age of 90 Years, 6 Months, 10 Days.
She is survived by two daughters, Betty Riley and husband Bob of Memphis, TN and Patricia Henderson and husband Jimmy of Corinth, MS; a daughter-in-law Linda Donahoe of Michie, TN; two sons, Bobby Donahoe and wife Kaye of Michie, TN and Jimmy Donahoe and wife Ann of Munford, TN; a sister, Kate Wardlow of St. Charles, MO; a brother, L. P. Baker and wife Earline of La Grange, TN; 13 Grandchildren, 23 Great Grandchildren, 3 Great Great Grandchildren 3 Step Grandchildren, 2 Step Great Grandchildren.
In addition to her husband and parents, Mrs. Donahoe was preceded in death by a son, Charles "Bo" Donahoe; a sister, Alta Henson; seven brothers, James, Billy, Kellus, Carlus, Hayes, Tommy and Curtis Baker.
