Mascal C. Story

Mascal C. Story, age 88 of Saulsbury, passed from this life Tuesday, November 4, 2008 at her home.She was born May 3, 1922 in Winston County, Alabama to the late Garfield and Ossie Bell Cummings. She was a former residence of Alabama and Madison County, Tennessee before moving to Hardeman County. She was a homemaker.Survivors include a son, Ricky J. Story of Saulsbury, a daughter, Doris Jones of Winfield, AL; special friends Joe Castelaw, Norman Grant, Charles Irvin, Roger Webster and Billy Harper; three sisters, Sadie Harris, Lestie Corkren and Ruth Jones; a brother, Burdis Cummings; 18 grandchildren, and a host of great-grandchildren.In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by two sisters, Osia Hallmark and Claris Dodd; two brothers, Jim Cummings and Otis Cummings; three sons, K. D. Handley, A. C. Handley, and J. C. Handley; and three daughters, Shirley Dix, Debra Handley and Paula Wortham.
