Mary Jane Wilson was born May 26, 1945 in the Gravel Hill Community, the daughter of the late William Russell Greenhill and Mary Marie Dickey Hogan. Her birth father died when she was young and she was raised by her mother and the only father she ever knew, Cayce Hogan.
She was united in marriage to Thomas Talley; two daughters were born to this union. Later she was married to W. O. McIntyre, who preceded her in death.
Jane was a 1963 graduate of Chewalla School. She worked for 15 years as a line supervisor for ITT. She also managed McCarter's Bar M Chevron and was the owner of Golden Tans and Gifts in Selmer. Jane was a member of Chewalla Baptist Church.
Jane departed this life on April 11, 2020 in Selmer, Tennessee at the age of 74 Years, 10 Months, 16 Days. She is survived by two daughters, Denise Dillingham and husband Garion of Corinth, MS and Stephanie Tacker and husband David of Selmer, TN; eight grandchildren: Amanda Stricklen and husband Wesley, Jordan Monroe and wife Amanda, Mary Dillingham, Gabriel Dillingham, Kayla Steward and husband Kyle, Kyra York and husband Steven, Kirby Tacker, and Katelin Tacker; five great-grandchildren: Jaycee Monroe, Levi Monroe, Porter Stricklen, Kylin Steward, and John Logan York; a brother, Dennis Hogan and wife Diane of Corinth, MS; two sisters, Dianne Pate of Corinth, MS and Lisa Rutledge of Jackson, TN; and many extended family and friends.
In addition to her parents and husband, Jane was preceded in death by a sister, Nancy Clayton, and maternal grandparents Thomas and Valley Dickey.
