Mary Elizabeth Willis

Mary Elizabeth Dorris Willis was born October 6, 1932 in Hardeman County, TN the daughter of the late William \"Billie\" Washington Dorris and Christine \"Cressie\" Marthena Wilson Dorris.She was united in marriage to Charlie T Willis on September 19, 1953 in Corinth, MS. She was Baptist in faith and a homemaker.Mrs. Willis is survived by a daughter, Christine Lavelle Willis Byrd of Memphis, TN; two sons, Charles Keith Willis and wife Angela Marie of Mocksville, NC, Steven Dale Willis and wife Carol Anne of Michie, TN; six grandchildren, Andrew Christopher Byrd, Rebecca Marie Willis, Karlene Nikole Byrd Tutor and husband David, Elizabeth Ashlea Willis Tucker and husband Travis, Sasha Nicole Willis and Fiance\' Travis, Jonathan Ryan Willis; three great-grandchildren, Braysen Daven Willis, Marley Jayne Willis, Samantha Marie Dearden; three sisters, Mildred Delores Dorris Gooch of Opelika, AL, Sarah Marthena Dorris Smith and husband Randy of Hernando, MS, Ellen Gail Dorris Harris and husband Woody of Kearns, UT; two brothers, Paul Wayne Dorris of Toone, TN, Jewell David Dorris and wife Becky of Toone, TN; and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, friends, and family. In addition to her parents, Mrs. Willis was preceded in death by her husband, Charlie T Willis on November 18, 2011 after 59 years of marriage; infant sister, Brenda Ann Dorris; sister, Jo Dorris Shearon; and brother W.C. Dorris.
