Mary P. Taylor, 67, of Bolivar, died Tuesday, January 17, 2006 at Bolivar General Hospital.
Born September 24, 1938, in Cloverport in the “Ruffin Houseâ€, daughter of the late Albert F. Pardue, Sr. and Clarice Aline Robinson Pardue, she was a caterer. In her early years, she worked as a waitress and as a cashier at P. N. Hurst. Ms. Taylor was a good seamstress and loved cooking and canning. She was a former member and past president of Cloverport Community Club and a member of Trinity Baptist Church where she loved to sing.
Services were 11 AM Friday, January 20, 2006 at Shackelford Funeral Directors Bolivar chapel with Charles Jeter officiating. Burial was in Bolivar Memorial Cemetery.
Survivors include two sons and their wives, Don M. Taylor and Tammy of Bolivar and Tony B. Taylor, Sr. and Carolina of Jackson; two sisters, Martha Stallings of Toone and Nancy Jackson of Bolivar; two brothers, Franklin Pardue of Jackson and Johnny Pardue of Humboldt and three grandchildren, Coty Taylor and his wife, Sarah, Tony Brint Taylor, Jr. and Brooke Taylor.
