Mary Frances Staggs

Mrs. Mary Frances Bratcher Staggs departed this life on Sunday, April 26, 2015 at Maury Regional Hospital in Columbia, Tennessee at the age of 76 Years, 3 Months, 4 Days. She was born January 22, 1939 in Wayne County, TN the daughter of the late Leonard Dalton and Myrtle Elisabeth Scott Bratcher. In addition to her parents, Mrs. Frances was preceded in death by ; daughter, Brenda Andrews; companion; Glen Smith

Mrs. Frances was a foster grandparent for the Waynesboro Middle School 5th. grade class and retired machine operator with Angelica Manufacturing. She attended Ray's Chapel Baptist Church in Waynesboro, Tennessee.

She is survived by sons, Kenneth Staggs and wife Debbie ; Brian Staggs and wife Carla , and Wayne Staggs all of Waynesboro, TN, Lytle Smith and wife Mary and Steve Smith and wife Lisa all of Clifton, TN; grandchildren; Jeremy Andrews, Nicole Smith, Austin Staggs, Jeremy Risner, Daniel Townsend, Walter Smith, Elijah Smith, Coty Smith, Tabitha Pigg and Mark Smith. 14 great grandchildren.

Services will be held on Tuesday, April 28, 2015 at 1:00 PM at Shackelford Funeral Home in Waynesboro, Tennessee, with Laverne Griggs officiating. Burial will follow at Mt. Hebron Cemetery , Collinwood, Tennessee with Shackelford Funeral Directors in charge of the arrangements.

Visitaion will be on Monday, April 27, 5:30--9:00 pm and on Tuesday, April 28, 8:00 am until service time @ Shackelford Funeral Home, Waynesboro.

Pallbearers: Jerroll Henderson; Dustin Henderson; Sammy Smith; Terry Brooks; James Butler and Jeff Ray.

Honorary: Waynesboro Middle School 5th. grade class.
