Mary Lou Smith

Mrs. Smith died Saturday afternoon, June 28, 2008, at Pine Meadows Healthcare in Bolivar.
She was a native and life-long resident of Bolivar. Her parents were Jim and Minnie Jernigan and was preceded in death by both of them and two sisters, Myrtle Smith and Ivy Hodge. Also, she was preceded by three brothers, Charlie, Ansel and Hugh Jernigan.
She married James Ervin Smith on March 23, 1933 and Mr. Smith passed away on December 26, 1968. She was a homemaker and member of the Trinity Baptist Church.
Survivors are two sons, James Smith of Bolivar and Jerald Smith of Hendersonville; four grandchildren, Rachelle Wilkinson, Nathan, Tameria and Tommy Smith; and eleven great-grandchildren.
